Who we are and what we want to achieve
Captain Kahu begins with us and our rescue dog Captain.
The name combines our dog, Captain, with the Hawaiian word "Kahu", which means guardian or caretaker. It represents awareness, responsibility, and care — values that guide everything we create.
In daily life with Captain, we often see that many dog products look nice but aren't really practical. We want to do it differently: design products that genuinely work and still look good.
Our goal is to create solutions that are useful, durable, and well thought-out, while avoiding unnecessary production. We believe in making only what has real purpose and lasting value.

A lot of gear is nicely designed but falls apart in real use. We're doing it differently.
Where we are

We're currently developing our first product. It's in the prototyping phase, being made in Europe and tested with real dogs. We're taking the time to get it right.
